Автоматический выключатель предназначен для включения и проведения в электросети токов, а также отключения их при коротком замыкании и в случае перегрузок. Несмотря на свое простое устройство, прибор надежно защищает оборудование малой и большой мощности.
Классификация автоматов и их выбор
Согласно ГОСТ 9098-78 данный тип устройства подразделяется по роду тока, по типу расцепителя, по конструкции, по количеству полюсов, по наличию или отсутствию токоограничения и свободных контактов, по типу монтажа и пр.
Основным показателем автомата является характеристика расцепителя, который бывает механическим, электромагнитным, либо тепловым. Его тип обозначается одной из латинских букв (A,B, C, D, K, Z) и указывается на корпусе устройства перед значением токового номинала. Автоматический выключатель с характеристикой «С» очень востребован, так как может использоваться на сетях со смешанной нагрузкой.
Количество полюсов главной цепи у данного типа оборудования может быть от одного до четырех. При выборе этого показателя учитываются характеристики электросети (вид оборудования, общее количество, их мощности, фазы и т.д.).
При выборе автомата немаловажное значение уделяется значению тока в сети. Для устройства этот параметр является номинальным, то есть, при превышении его значения автомат выключится. Для расчета номинальной силы тока учитывается площадь сечения проводов и мощность группы приборов, например, работающих одновременно чайника, холодильника, стиральной машины и т.д.

Маркировка устройства данного типа содержит его основные характеристики. Как правило, она нанесена стойкой краской на лицевой стороне выключателя. Прежде всего, потребитель видит наименование производителя. Известными из них являются компании IEK, Schneider Electric или ABB.
Также на корпусе отображается серия автомата. Это может быть ВА47-29 от IEK или СH201 от ABB. Указывается характеристика расцепителя, значение номинального тока и номинального дифференциального тока короткого замыкания, количество полюсов, номинальное напряжение, класс токоограничения.
Кроме того, на электроприборе могут быть нанесены условные графические обозначения, штрих-коды, торговые коды, по которым на сайте производителя можно найти и купить тот или иной тип автомата. Это является гарантом того, что перед потребителем представлена не подделка, а действительно качественная продукция.
